The short version

We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. The ones we need to run the site load automatically. Analytics and marketing cookies do not load until you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time. This policy works alongside our Privacy Policy.

Strictly necessary

These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They include your sign-in session, your age-confirmation acknowledgement, your saved cookie choice, and security and load-balancing state. Examples: jz_age_ok (you confirmed you are 18+), jz_consent (your cookie preferences), and your authentication session.

Preferences

These remember choices that improve your experience, such as which homepage arrangement you saw (jz_hv). They are not used for advertising.

Analytics

These help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it, in aggregate. They only load after you accept. They include Google Analytics 4 and Ahrefs Web Analytics. We also keep a first-party, aggregate usage count that does not set a third-party cookie.

Marketing

These measure the performance of our ads and only load after you accept. They include the Meta (Facebook) pixel identifiers (_fbp, _fbc) and our ad-attribution tracker (bemob_cid). We do not sell your personal information. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Managing cookies

You control analytics and marketing cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, and you can reopen your choices at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though strictly necessary cookies are needed for the site to function.
