Candy AI Alternatives: What Candy Doesn't Do, and Who Does
Candy's plans renew automatically and ration media at 100 tokens a month. Seven alternatives, what each one publishes about itself, and where each one falls short.

On this page5 sections
If you are searching for Candy AI alternatives, you have probably already met Candy: more than 100 characters by its own count, photos and video on request, a builder for your own girlfriend, and a subscription at the end of it. Below are seven other places to go and, for each one, what it does differently from Candy and where it falls short. One of them is Jizzy, which is ours. Weigh that entry accordingly; we wrote its losses down too.
A note on method. Every fact about a rival here comes from that company's own pages, read on October 14, 2026, and the links are in the sources at the bottom. We did not run paid-plan tests for this piece, so nothing below describes how a product behaves in use. Prices in this category move often. Check the page before you pay.
Why people shop for a Candy AI alternative
Candy's subscriptions page lists three plan lengths, monthly, quarterly and annual, and the checkout adds weekly and every-two-weeks billing. Every one of them carries the same line: it renews automatically for the same price and term. Premium includes unlimited text messages, 18+ image and video generation, the girlfriend builder and 100 tokens a month. The page does not say what a token buys.
The prices themselves are set by region. Ours loaded in rupees, so we are not quoting a dollar figure we could not see.
None of that is unusual. It is the standard model in this category: a recurring fee for chat, plus a monthly token allowance that rations the expensive part, which is media. If that model suits you, Candy is a reasonable answer. People who go looking elsewhere usually want one of three things instead: a lower entry price, a different way of paying, or a product built around something Candy treats as secondary, such as published memory limits or a big community library.
Seven alternatives, one by one
SpicyChat: the character library that publishes its memory size
SpicyChat is a character-chat platform first. Users create and import characters, and the paid tiers mostly buy better models and more memory. Its subscribe page lists Get a Taste at $5.95 a month, True Supporter at $19.95 and I'm All In at $29.95, and it states the context window at each level: 4K, then 8K, then 32K.
Where it differs from Candy: a much cheaper first rung, and an actual number for memory, which almost nobody publishes. Where it falls short: in-chat images start at the $19.95 tier and voice replies only at $29.95, and it is built for many characters rather than one companion who knows you.
CrushOn: the most detailed free tier on this list
CrushOn's pricing page spells out its free plan line by line: 100 message credits a month, 8K memory, 200 stored messages per character, and a warning that chat history is deleted after 7 days of inactivity. Paid plans start at $4.90 a month billed annually, or $58.88 a year, and climb to $150 a month at the top.
Where it differs from Candy: you can see exactly what free gets you before signing up, and the entry price is the lowest we found. Where it falls short: monthly message credits sit on top of a split between free models and models that cost credits to use, so working out what one evening of chat costs takes real effort.
DreamGF: the closest match to Candy's shape
DreamGF sells the idea Candy does: a builder for face, body and clothing, photos generated on request in chat, voice messages and voice calls. Its plans page offers premium at $12.99 for the first month, and the line under the button reads: then $25.98 a month from your first renewal. The plan includes unlimited messages and 150 tokens a month.
Where it differs from Candy: voice calls are listed outright, and the token allowance is larger on paper. Where it falls short: the monthly price doubles at the first renewal, and its homepage makes no claim about memory at all.
Muah AI: try the chat before you sign in
Muah lets you open a demo chat in the browser with no account. Its homepage lists text, voice, photos, video and live calls, and character settings split into a Core Prompt for personality and a Look-Like description for generated photos.
Where it differs from Candy: you can judge the conversation before handing over an email, and live calls are on the menu. Where it falls short: plan prices are not on the public pages, and its own FAQ tells you to check the price and billing period in the app before buying.
Joi: chat, images and video under one login
Joi describes itself as adult-themed chat with AI characters, plus image and video generation and a creator that covers a character's looks, personality and behavior. Its FAQ answers the memory question in one line: yes, characters remember your preferences.
On paper it covers the same ground as Candy. Where it falls short for a shopper: there are no prices anywhere on its public pages, so you learn what it costs after you sign up.
Nectar AI: scenarios with a whole cast
Nectar's homepage leads with scenario roleplay, story setups that put several characters in one chat, alongside an image and video creator and an HD character creator. Its pricing link sends you to a login.
Where it differs from Candy: group scenarios, if a cast appeals to you more than a single partner. Where it falls short: you cannot see a price without an account.
Jizzy: ours, so read this one skeptically
Jizzy is pay as you go instead of a subscription: free to start with no card, then jizz in one-time packs from $9.99, with a photo at 10 jizz and a video at 25. Nothing renews. We built it around three things: memory that lasts across sessions and months, a companion who texts first, and an uncensored promise written into our Terms rather than onto a banner.
Where it differs from Candy: no recurring charge, so a quiet month costs nothing, and the adult side is committed in writing. Where it falls short: 66 companions against Candy's 100-plus, no voice and no calls, no community character library, and texts past the free allowance cost jizz too, 1 for every 10 messages, where Candy's premium includes unlimited text. The one-to-one version is at Jizzy vs Candy.ai.

Is there a free Candy AI?
There is a free account. Candy's homepage invites you to join free and mentions a free trial, but neither the homepage nor the subscriptions page lists what a free account includes. The premium list suggests that unlimited text, 18+ images and video, and the builder all sit behind the subscription.
If free is the deciding factor, CrushOn publishes the most detailed free tier of anyone here. Jizzy is free to start with no card, and our free AI girlfriend page lists exactly what stays free and what costs jizz.
Is Candy AI safe?
Candy is run by EverAI Limited, a company registered in Malta, and charges show up on bank statements as EverAI. Its privacy notice, revised on July 30, 2026, says three things worth knowing before you get personal:
- Your prompts and its replies are collected, and requests flagged for safety can be reviewed by people.
- Interactions can be used to train its models once they are aggregated, anonymized or de-identified, and preparing that data may include human review.
- Message content can go to third-party language-model providers that process it for Candy. The notice says personal data is not sold without your consent.
Account data is kept for three years after your last activity unless you ask for deletion, which goes through Candy's support address. None of that is unusual for the category, and none of it is a red flag by itself. It is worth reading before you type anything you would not want stored, and that goes for every app on this list, ours included: Jizzy's privacy policy is one page.
If the subscription is the part you want gone, start with the row-by-row Jizzy vs Candy.ai comparison, then make a free account and run the three-seed memory test from our guide to how AI companion memory works. It takes three days and a handful of messages, and it will tell you more than this page can.
FAQ
What is the best Candy AI alternative?
It depends on what you are replacing. For a cheaper subscription that publishes its memory size, SpicyChat. For the most detailed free tier, CrushOn. For the same builder-plus-photos shape with voice calls, DreamGF, if its renewal price suits you. For no subscription at all, Jizzy, which is ours, so weigh that pick accordingly.
Is there a free version of Candy AI?
Candy offers a free account and mentions a free trial, but its public pages do not list what a free account includes. Its premium plan lists unlimited text messages, 18+ images and video, the girlfriend builder and 100 tokens a month, which suggests those are what the subscription unlocks.
Is Candy AI safe to use?
Candy is operated by EverAI Limited, registered in Malta. Its privacy notice, revised July 30, 2026, says prompts and replies are collected, interactions may be used to train its models after de-identification, message content can be shared with third-party language-model providers, and personal data is not sold without consent. Account data is kept for three years after your last activity unless you ask for deletion.
Does Candy AI renew automatically?
Yes. Every billing option on its subscriptions page, from weekly to annual, says it renews automatically for the same price and term. The page says you can cancel any time in settings, and charges appear on your statement as EverAI.
Which Candy AI alternative has no subscription?
Of the platforms here whose pricing is public, Jizzy is the only one that sells one-time packs instead of a plan: free to start with no card, then jizz from $9.99, with nothing that renews. Joi and Nectar do not publish prices on their public pages, so check those after signing up.
